本科和硕士分别毕业于华中科技大学、清华大学材料学院, 随后留学日本国立材料研究所(NIMS)并取得博士学位。先后在英国、澳大利亚、复旦大学从事科研工作。现任东南大学材料科学与工程学院教授、博士生导师。在Adv. Mater.、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Energy Environ. Sci.、Adv. Energy Mater.、Adv. Funct. Mater. 、ACS Nano等期刊上发表学术论文80余篇,被引用8000余次。主持国家自然科学基金四项、省部级项目八项,参与国家重点研发计划“储能与智能电网技术“重点专项、国家电网公司总部科技项目各一项。 获得中组部万人计划“青年拔尖人才”、江苏省杰青、上海市青年科技启明星等称号。以第四完成人获得上海市自然科学一等奖。担任江苏省复合材料学会功能材料专委会委员、江苏省材料学会会员,以及Adv. Mater.、;Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.; JACS等三十多个期刊的审稿人。
